Emily`s Good tdings To Eat in Santa Cruz

What a gem! Definitely go there if you are in that area..they make amazing shakes, great sandwiches and fantastic baked goods! You can sit inside or outside and it's just very very cute!

This is my go to place to grab a quick breakfast by myself or with friends and family early in the mornings in Santa Cruz. There isn't any other bakery in the Santa Cruz area the comes close to Emily's. For the price and the quality, you cannot beat what Emily's has to offer. They may not have world's most extravagant pastries and baked goods, but they are extremely good at what they do. I am a weekly customer and love them. Would recommend highly to anyone passing through Santa Cruz.

They have yummy wheat-free muffins. Update: and great coffee. I stopped by to get some muffins and decided to try their coffee too. It was so good. Great customer service too.

Emily’s is my favorite place in the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD!! I love this place with all my heart. Going here during lunch hour makes the day 100 billion times better and they have the most delicious pastries and drinks. I truly love all the staff here as well. They are all so kind, warm and welcoming and inviting. The atmosphere and vibe of Emily’s is everything I could ever imagine in a bakery and this same feeling is sustained even though quarantine. Man DO I LOVE Emily’s!! ❤️ Not to mention the man that is constantly playing piano in there, it is all just such a happy spot

the pastries are phenomenal, the coffee is just ok. still 5 stars, because i love this place so much. ive never actually had one of the sandwiches, but they look pretty good.

Was expecting to get my slice of Savory quiche warm, not handed to me in a to go container with plastic wrap and told I could hear it in the microwave. Quiche was good, lots of fresh mushrooms, some cauliflower would have been nice in it.

The brownies are so good.

Nice selection of fresh baked treats. They even have a microwave so you can warm up your pastries!

The breads were fresh. At the moment I have to be on a gluten free diet and I bought some of their muffins and they were delicious. If anyone knows gluten free bread is very difficult to make and taste normal and they did an amazing job. I also bought their vegan shake and it was tasty and delicious it was a blueberry and banana shake. There were a good amount if people buying their goods but they get to you in a good manner if time! I would definitely go back and visit here when I'm back in town!

I stopped by on my last visit to Santa Cruz last week. I lived in SC for 37 years. Worked up the coast for 16 of those years. Used to stop by Emily's every Sunday morning for their gluten free bakery items and a cup of Java. My gluten free muffin was as killer as the 1st day I ever had one. Long live Emily's!!

My dad had been coming here for years before we moved to Australia, and now that I'm back I understand why! The coffee and food are amazing, the staff are lovely, and the atmosphere is great :)

My experience here was horrible. My friend and I spent over $40 here on pastries and our coffee. Wile we were picking out iteams and giving the lady at the front our money she was super nice and polite, but then she got our drinks wrong. When we told her that one of the were wrong she took it back to remake it, but she took back the wrong one. When we told her she grabbed the wrong one. When we told her of her mistake she became very angry. I work in customer service so I understand that dealling with customers all day can be annoying, But if you mess up an order don't tell at the customer. Long story short would not go again.

If you want to find the pastries you are craving better get there early morning. Almond thumbprint cookies were so good. I just love the almond flavor. Chocolate croissant are very tasty and so are the rest of their pastries.

I'm glad I stopped for a rest. The cappuccino and the small apple walnut pie were delicious. I also enjoyed staying on patio sipping my coffee.

I hate giving bad reviews when I know a lot of effort went into what was made, but these pastries are not very good. I got a croissant and a cheese pocket. The croissant was chewy (a good croissant should shatter) and I’m not entirely sure what the cheese pocket was supposed be (a danish?) but it was very dense and bready. My guess is that the baker has never had a good croissant 🥐 and just doesn’t know what it’s actually supposed to taste like. Ignorance is bliss I guess 🤷‍♀️

Quiche is great, the ham & cheese croissants are a personal favorite

At my niece's recommendation, we stopped here to pick up sandwiches for a picnic as she played tour guide to her favorite beaches on the coast. Great options, everyone found delicious sandwiches to suit their tastes. Getting in and out of parking lot is a bit of a pain.

Surprisingly low prices and decently good food and pastries.

They are not that good. However, I must take into consideration. The time. It was after 1:00 p.m. It's very popular etc. They have leftovers made into 7-11 style cut corner to corner, stacked, wrapped in plastic sandwiches. I was a recepiant of one of those...

Super tasty! Today we had savory quiche and a slice of apple cake. And the sandwiches on our previous visit were also excellent.

Yummy pastries and breakfast goodies, sometimes takes a while to get order though.

Pastries were delicious but the coffee was horrible. Ordered a double latte and definitely was not a double latte very little coffee. Really enjoyed the olallaberry pastry though!

I love a good bakery, but more often than not come away disappointed. My husband and I were on a road trip down the west coast and saw Emily's and made a quick decision to stop. It was a great choice, the bakery goods were fantastic; delicious, moist, and flavorful. Wish we had an Emily's in the Twin Cities!
